Making a Complaint

At University Dental Care, we hope that you are entirely satisfied with your dental care and treatment and would be happy to recommend our services to others. If not, please let us know about it so we can rectify the cause of your dissatisfaction and improve our service.

Contact us about your complaint

The first step in making a complaint is to contact us in person, by e-mail, or by phone. We learn from every mistake that we make and we respond to patients’ concerns in a caring and sensitive way.

How complaints are handled

We will normally acknowledge your complaint in writing within two working days and explain to you our procedure for handling your complaint. We’ll also ask if you would like to discuss your complaint, and how you would like to be kept informed of developments.

You can download a full copy of our complaints procedure now if you wish.

If you are not satisfied

Our aim is to react to complaints in the way in which we would want our complaint about a service to be handled. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your complaint, you can complain to the Local Health board, the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales, and/or the Dental Complaints Service.

Full contact details for these bodies are listed in our complaints procedure.
